The Donkey Kong video game arcade machine features a two-player control panel, a 22-inch monitor, and additional USB ports that allow you to connect external controllers. All gaming machines are WI-FI enabled, providing access to the online storefront. As a recent update to the ‘Mega’ range, we have added a soft close drawer and two adjustable shelves within the stand that are perfect for storing cables, controllers, manuals, or any other items you may need for your retro gaming adventures.
With a commitment to excellence, the design team at Arcade Mania ensures that only top-tier components are utilised in every build. Our reinterpretations of classic game cabinets are designed with convenience in mind, weighing in at approximately 50kg. This makes them an ideal choice for both residential and professional settings, all while maintaining the durability needed to endure high-intensity gaming marathons. Each unit is composed of two sections – the bar top and its corresponding stand. The assembly process is straightforward and demands little construction, with both elements being fastened together securely.

Donkey Kong Video Game Arcade Machine – History
In the 80s, Shigeru Miyamoto started working for Nintendo and created the game Donkey Kong. The name Kong was inspired by the movie King Kong, and the word ‘Donkey’ meant stupid, according to a Japanese/English dictionary. It featured Jumpman (soon to be Mario) trying to save his girlfriend Pauline from the ape by avoiding barrels and fireballs. When the game was released in 1981, it was an instant hit. In the years following its release, multiple Donkey Kong arcade games and sequels were created for not only arcade machines but also home consoles and handheld devices such as the GameBoy and DS.

As such, our arcade machines come pre-loaded with 10K classic games and, with WiFi connectivity, you can access thousands more for free on the online market. Connecting to WiFi is straight forward although your machine will play perfectly fine without it! Check out the games list below, although be warned… you’ll end up buying a machine ;)
