At Arcade Mania®, we come to work every day because we love games – and we want to share the love. The growth of retro gaming has been staggering over the past decade. Users around the world fondly remember their first high score, the beautiful simplicity of those classic games, and the adrenaline-pumping music and sound effects. Our goal at Arcade Mania is simple – we want classic gaming fans to be able to relive the golden days of arcade gaming from the comfort of their home!
Craig started his arcade journey as most do – by experiencing the magic of the arcade first-hand. The flashing lights of the varied game machines captured his attention and led him to spend countless hours in front of his favourites – Tekken, Mario, Sonic, House of the Dead, and Donkey Kong. His love of gaming would only grow with his first consoles, the NES and Sega Mega Drive, which are actually the inspiration for several of the Arcade Machine skins available on the Arcade Mania website! Nowadays you can most often find Craig enjoying a cheeky game of Donkey Kong or working his way through the nordic realm in Skyrim.
Martin’s first forray into the world of video games began with an unmarked disk containing The Elder Scrolls Oblivion received from an (undisclosed) family member. Since then, he has experienced countless games across myriad genres, successfully providing that no amount of skill elsewhere will make him any good at fighting games. He spends his time playing retro RPGs and enjoying the casual gaming loop of arcade titles such as Space Invaders, Outrun, and Mario.
Tom was a huge fan of the R-Type series from the moment he played it for the first time on his PS1. The early Playstation consoles awakened him to a world of excitement and he hasn’t looked back since! While the arcade generation came a little bit too early for Tom, he loves exploring arcade cafes and checking out the titles that defined the modern gaming generation. His current favourites include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons games, Galactica, and Street Fighter.
The current Arcade Mania ownership started out as manufacturers for radiator covers under Booths Manufacturing. Having gained plenty of experience in the design and creation of products as well as a reputation for exceptional quality, we were asked to assist with the conceptualisation of classic game cabinets. Working alongside the old Arcade Mania ownership for multiple years, we bacame the chief supplier behind their renowned Arcade Machines. After a few years, they approached us to see if we were interested in buying the business. Naturally, we jumped at the opportunity and Arcade Mania became as you know it today!
We specialise in offering a custom solution for your retro requirements, including designing, developing, and handcrafting your very own machine. Users can select everything from the button and joystick types, colours, trim colours, artwork, and more. Our specialities are the All-in-One arcade machines – which are ideal for the home, office, man cave or lady attic.
In addition, we have built up a strong team of versatile technicians who are well versed in taking your queries and even designing your very own unique artwork.
