Are you interested in owning a piece of iconic video gaming history? This Space Invaders cabinet boasts a sleek, modern, yet retro design featuring the renowned invaders and multiple human ships. The beautiful artwork pays homage to decades of gaming royalty, making this Space Invaders game machine a must-have for fans of the franchise or anyone with a love for classic gaming.
The retro Space Invaders machine includes a dual-player control layout, a 20″ or 22″ inch monitor, front-loaded audio amp volume control and USB ports for connecting external controllers for 4 player games. All machines are Wi-Fi enabled, providing access to the online storefront. As part of the recent update to the ‘Classic’ models, we’ve also added a soft-close drawer and two adjustable shelves within the stand. This makes it the ideal spot to store cables, controllers, manuals, or any other items you might need for your gaming adventures.
When it comes to building gaming machines at Arcade Mania, quality is a key priority for our design team. We exclusively use the highest-grade components in each of our builds. Unlike some of the cabinets still found in arcades, our versions are significantly lighter (approximately 50 kg), making them perfect for home or office use while still being sturdy enough to withstand even the most intense gaming sessions. Assembling our Space Invaders cabinet is a breeze – simply connect the bar top and bar top stand using secure fixings.

Space Invader Game Machine – The History
Space Invaders is a Japanese shooting game released in 1978. It was created by Tomohiro Nishikado, who drew inspiration from various sources such as Breakout, The War of the Worlds, and Star Wars. It is considered one of the pioneering titles that contributed to the video game industry’s growth from a niche interest to a global phenomenon. Interestingly, during the initial planning stages, the game’s creators intended to depict the enemies as human soldiers. However, the decision was made to change the enemies to aliens in order to avoid promoting violence against humans.
Since the release of the retro Space Invaders game, it has seen numerous adaptations across various platforms. Subsequent sequels introduced new elements such as power-ups, three-dimensional playing fields, boss battles, and rhythm-action gameplay mechanics, adding depth and innovation to the original game’s design.

Our process involves printing & laminating artwork, preparation of panels, assembly of components, electrical testing and quality control checks. As such, our arcade machines come pre-loaded with 10K classic games and, with WiFi connectivity, you can access thousands more for free on the online market. Connecting to WiFi is straight forward although your machine will play perfectly fine without it! Check out the games list below, although be warned… you’ll end up buying a machine ;)
